BECAVO A01 16mm Pickleball Paddle
The A01 is the current model in BECAVO’s A Series all-court collection, for players who build points with a mix of soft placement, quick exchanges and attacking shots. Start here if you want to develop a varied game and keep several ways to play a point.
The all-court approach
A well-placed dink can keep a rally patient. A block can help you stay in an exchange. An open ball can give you a chance to attack. A Series takes this whole-point approach: working on touch, defense and attacking opportunities together.
If you move between these parts of the game rather than building most points around hard drives, the A01 is the place to start your BECAVO comparison.
T700 raw carbon fiber with a PP honeycomb core
The A01 pairs a T700 raw carbon fiber face with a 16 mm polypropylene (PP) honeycomb core. Its raw carbon fiber surface has a textured matte finish and a woven pattern, and thermoformed unibody construction brings the paddle together under heat and pressure.
Orange accents sit against the dark face. The gallery includes front, angled and grip views, plus an illustration of the paddle’s layers and honeycomb core.
A01 or P01?
Choose the A01 to explore BECAVO’s all-court collection and its PP honeycomb construction. If your game is centered on drives and finishing shots, compare the P01 in our power-focused P Series, which uses an MPP foam core.
Both models have a T700 raw carbon fiber face and 16 mm thickness. Start with your playing priorities, then use the specifications below to check size and fit.

I’m a 4.5+ player and play three or four times a week. I usually favor control, but this paddle has made me more comfortable attacking.
PaleontologistOld –
Good control, and I can still put some pace on a drive. I also find it easier to get spin than I did with my previous paddle. Pretty happy with it.
jlwaters –
I’m playing better with this paddle. I feel more confident, and I’m happy with the control and power I’m getting.
yawertz –
I moved up from a basic starter set and have been using this for a little over a month. I’m happy with the upgrade. The control and power both feel good, and I like the grip.
Tobynetwork –
This would be a good option for an improving beginner or an intermediate player. That’s who I’d recommend it to, rather than saying it’s the right paddle for every level.
Lazza33312 –
Coming from a basic paddle, I needed a few hours to adjust. After that, I started to enjoy the extra power and spin. I like the way it looks, too.
